"grenzgänger"
An European Art Project
33 artists, 4 studios and 3 countries cooperate for this exhibition. Their linking element is neither style nor history but their situation in life. All of them share either psychiatric backgrounds or mental disorders. They label their work „Outsider Art". Most of them have not chosen to be marginalized in society and in the art scene.

The exhibits push the envolop of our understanding of borders. Some of them choose familiar art forms, some of them refuse formal reading.

The touring exhibition „grenzgänger" has been travelling Germany (2011), Florence (2012) and ends now in Zurich.

Opening on Thursday August 2nd 2012 at 18.00 h.

Collective exhibition „Grenzgänger" at the E-Werk in Freiburg (Opening Friday July 8th at 19.00 h). You can see paintings from the same. „Grenzgänger" is an European Art project. The exhibition is shown July 8th to 30th 2011 at the E-Werk in Freiburg (Eschholzstr.77, 79106 Freiburg)

We show „La Tinaia" (Florence), „Wolf in der Säule" (Zurich), „Das Atelier" (Lahr) and the art group of the FHG (Freiburg). After Freiburg the exhibition goes to Florence in spring 2012 and then to Zurich.
